There are processes today for handling and resolving these scenarios

There could be a number of reasons members receive this error message.

The error message will also read: "This usually happens for one of the following reasons: We’re waiting on info from your plan sponsor, your plan has terminated, you’re no longer covered under this plan, or you’ve already registered.”

  • Check to see if the member’s plan is active in BEN
  • Check BEN to see when the member’s plan has activated as it can take 2-3 full business days for their information to become active after their enrollment date
  • Check to see if the policy is still active in CI/KGP1

  • If you have gone through the steps above, send off a Website Issue Reporting Form with this specific error message for investigation.
