Three months.
Where can a patient sign up for MHAV?
Any clinic in the VUMC system.

Email, text message, or activation code.

When a child is not the biological child of a parent or legal representative.

What do we do activate a MHAV when a pediatric patient turns 18?
Activate the 18 year old's account by entering the patient's email or sending the text alert. No special documentation when a pediatric patient turns 18.
Who can activate a MHAV account for a child that is adopted or in foster care?
The MHAV team after review of custody or adoption paperwork by the VUMC Legal Department.
What are some of the things a patient can do with MHAV?
Book appointments, message providers, pay bills, request prescription refills, view medical record.
What is required on the MHAV application for a parent and teen?
Parent Identification; Teen signature, Parent Signature; Teen Email address, Parent email Address.

Calling the Help Desk- 615.343.4357.

Family Resource Center or the Clinic location of their appointment.
