What are PARP Inhibitors?
Typically oral medication that blocks your DNA repair genes (if you have a cancer causing mutation in your "repair" tool (gne) you don't want your cell to use this tool!
Why does the TRF list 3 different MyRisk tests and how are they different in the lab?
The tests are named based on the legacy tests - for the purpose of criteria review for insurance approval.
In the lab they aren't different at all - even MyRisk Update - it is all the same 48 genes.

What is a Gleason Score and why is it problematic?
This is a score grade given based on the appearance of the cells. This test is largely subjective - not all pathologists agree on what they see (to give a grade).

It tests on a tumor level - somatic or germline, don't care about the source of the mutation - just if the pt has the mutation.
