An instructional content platform that brings together engaging, accessible content with integrated assessments and insights to supercharge reading engagement and learning in every subject. Articles are published at 5 reading levels so that every article is accessible to every student in a class, regardless of reading ability.
What is Newsela?
An instructional framework that includes universal screening of all students, multiple tiers of instruction and support services, and an integrated data collection and assessment system to inform decisions at each tier of instruction. The framework can be used for literacy, math, or positive behavior supports.
What is MTSS/NJTSS?
The new way of holding a faculty meeting. Small staff groups assigned to an administrator team that meet to discuss school related topics.

A guidance document that articulates our department goals, the components of our curriculum, and our methods for teaching and measuring student success.
What is the English Department 9-12 Framework?
Stands for Learner-Active, Technology-Infused Classroom. It’s a framework for increasing student engagement, academic rigor, and student responsibility for their own learning, while focusing on the school’s curriculum content. It’s not a program that replaces any existing curriculum; it’s meant to enhance your child’s learning experience by engaging them more fully in the learning process.
