Why did Kappa Delta create the Confidence Coalition? How does Kappa Delta build confidence in girls through the Girl Scout partnership? How does Kappa Delta’s philanthropic partnership with PCAA connect to the platform of confidence?
Our founders envisioned an organization where women would be encouraged and supported in developing their potential – in essence to be their best selves. And it is our vision to inspire women to greatness. All of KD’s principles, policies, programs and activities are designed to increase confidence in women. KD is reaching out through the Confidence Coalition to bring together others who are also committed to encouraging confidence in women and girls. Kappa Deltas build confidence in Girl Scouts by serving as mentors and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Activities like campus tours and anti-bullying workshops are meant to help them be their best selves. Kappa Delta supports PCAA’s prevention efforts because abuse shatters a child’s confidence.
