2000 years ago, people KNEW the world was square. 500 years ago, people KNEW the world was flat. Today, we KNOW the world is round. Tomorrow, we might KNOW something else. Theories can change. Can scientific laws change too? Why or why not?
No. A scientific law means it is always, absolutely true. If it were found untrue, it would not be a law, just a theory.

Sally wonders if mice grow faster because of the food they eat. She makes an educated guess that mice will grow faster if they eat fatty food. She feeds three mice three different types of food for a month. After one month, all the mice look and weigh the same, and she realizes her hypothesis was wrong. Is this bad science? Why or why not?
No. Her hypothesis was wrong, but that's OK. She came up with a question, she had a hypothesis, and she did her experiment over a long period of time. She guessed wrong, but her science was good.

Can a theory describe a law? Why or why not?
