This program of study provides opportunities to earn apprenticeships with two of our industry partners through summer internships.

What is the Residential and Commercial Construction Program of study.  Students can earn apprenticeships through General Contractors Association and Hawaii Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Fund.

What is NSOP 1. Mission - Pearl City High School’s Academy of Technology and Design provides meaningful opportunities for all students in a dynamic learning environment which emphasizes real-world career experiences and college opportunities to create responsible, ethical, and successful global citizens.

What is Cybersecurity.  Students are able to apply during their Junior year to enter this program.  We have 1 student (Antonio Velasco) currently working with the NSA.

This program of study works hand in hand with Kupu Hawaii, providing work based learning opportunities several times a week in the classroom.

What is Natural Resources.  Kupu Hawaii is a non profit organization (on our advisory board) in the NR field.  They provide a tutor to work with our NR students 2x per week.

This program of study works with a company founded by alumni, providing project based opportunities for our students.

What is Architecture Design.  RMA Architects is operated by a PCHS graduate who works with Kyle to create authentic PBL (ex. amphitheater project).

This program of study allows students who earn a B or higher in their POS, along with accompanying success in math and science classes, the opportunity to be admitted as a freshman into UH's college of that program of study.

What is Engineering Technology.  Students can earn direct entry into UH's college of Engineering.... which typically only allows students to join after their sophomore years.
