Represents collaboration between the College of Education and the College of Social Sciences; provides a common structure for all initial and advanced preparation programs. It is the guiding document for faculty, candidates, advisors, and academic staff in the design, implementation, and evaluation of candidates and programs. centered on the unit’s vision of the Educational Professional and seven themes that support this vision. An emphasis on knowledge, skills, dispositions, and lifelong learning as essential elements for professional practice binds these themes together.
