The cornerstone for this monument was laid down on 11/10/1921.It was completed in 1937 and dedicated in 1949. This tower is a monument for alumni who died in WW1.

This is the first building ever on NCSU grounds. It was made using 1.5 million bricks made at the State Prison in Raleigh. This building was originally named Main Building before being renamed in recognition of the first president of NCSU.

This NCSU alumni got into running to help recover from a slalom skiing accident. She won the first women's Olympic Games marathon champion in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. She was inducted into the Maine Women's Hall of Fame in 2000.

In 1958 this was the first sport to desegregate with the addition of Irwin Holmes at NCSU. He was also the first black athlete to participate in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

NCSU spent $10,000 advertising for the increase in fees to pay for renovations of this building. 19% of the student population voted with 61% against but student senate and administration overturned the vote. Renovations to this building would be finished in 2016.

In 2008 graffiti on this location resulted in the Secret Service coming down to investigate. This underpass was created in 1939 and was funded by the Public Works Administration. It wasn't til 1967 that rules for this underpass was officially created.

There are currently an even number of residence halls at NCSU. Some of them are suite style, others are hall style, some in apartments, and 1 is motel style. Some of these residence halls can be reserved exclusively for Live and Learn Villages. The number of residence halls is in the double digits.

This duo lived in Syme Hall studying engineering. In 2019 they acquired Smosh. They call themselves "Internetainers" and are most famous for creating and hosting Good Mythical Morning.
