Neurodivergent people can think, learn, feel and experience the world differently (e.g. sensory differences) to neurotypical people. It can include being autistic or having ADHD, down syndrome, OCD, dyslexia, apraxia (and other things!). Neurodivergent people are different, not less!

Why are sensory swings so great?

Sensory swings help regulate the nervous system by providing two primary types of physical feedback: vestibular input (movement and balance) and proprioceptive input (deep pressure and body awareness). These combined sensations help ground and organize the brain, promoting relaxation, focus, and emotional regulation. Millie also likes them because they help her learn and are fun and can be used when she is having a hard time.
