If a Physician calls for a patient at Neurosurgery Aston?

 Route a telephone encounter to the RN if the provider would like to speak with one of the neurosurgeons and it is not urgent. Obtain the calling physician's cell phone number. If they urgently need to speak to one of our providers, please call the Spectralink phone [phone]) and do a warm transfer if necessary. If the calling physician urgently needs to speak about transferring a patient, provide them with the transfer phone number 877-645-0911. They will be able to speak with the provider that is carrying the transfer pager.
