How do you make a cold brew keg?
1. Remove Cold Brew concentrate from the fridge (must be chilled for at least 4 hours) and prepare chilled water.
2. Prepare the chilled water by using a markout pitcher, fill to the 2L line with ice and place in an empty cube. Add 4L of filtered water.
3. Stir ice with filtered water until fully melted. Nitro is served without ice. This step helps to ensure a quality beverage. Ice can damage the Nitro system.
4. Pour one cube (5L) of Cold Brew concentrate into a clean pre-chilled keg.
5. Add the cube of prepared chilled water (5L) into same keg.
6. Place keg lid securely on freshly prepared keg and day dot with the same date and time that was on the cube of concentrate.
7. Turn keg upside down over sink to check for leaks.
8. Place full keg in Cold Brew Fridge for point of use stock. If not needed, place in the back of house fridge for replenishment.
