What is the procedure for going to the bathroom?
Come in quietly, go to your seat, review the agenda, start your warm up.
What is the procedure for entering the class?
You sitting in your seat, working quietly, with eyes focused on your independent work and answering questions or actively working.
Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
You need to stay in your seat to avoid distracting others, focus on your work, and safety.
What are reasons you need to stay in your seat?
Ask the teacher if instruction is going on. Independent work-you may go get a pencil. Borrow and return the pencil without damage.
What is the procedure for borrowing a pencil?
Pick up your personal belongings, clean up your area, and return any borrowed items.
What are rules for exiting class?
This is a way to practice skills at home and increase your grade.
What is doing your homework?
Repeated coughing, whispering off topic comments, squeaking shoes on floor, moving your seat loudly, laughing
What are some noises that can distract others besides just talking?
Packing up early before the teacher dismisses you.
What is something you shouldn't do when it gets close to the end of class?
This is a way you can show respect and stay out of trouble in regard to personal belongings. The rule is: If it's not yours.......
What is don't touch it?
-not touching classmaters or teacher's personal items (desk, pens, markers, etc)?
You always need to do this at the end of the day and double check that it is charging.
What is charge my computer and put in the cart?
This behavior has the consequence of being stepped, removal from classroom, and it negatively effects your grades and work completion.
What is the consequence for not staying on task/completing work?
If you engage in this very unkind behavior towards your classmates, you will get stepped after 3 warnings. (can't always say "I'm joking")
What is the consequence for bullying, calling names, and making fun of others?
This technology item will get your item taken away and your parents may have to come pick it up.

This behavior is expected-kind words, inclusion, saying yes m'am, thank you, you're welcome, treating others like you would like to be treated.

This is something you should not do, even if you're
"playing" and no one is mad at the other person. Someone can get hurt doing this even if you don't mean to.

Hanging out by the door, talking to people in the hall, talking loudly with friends
What is not expected or breaks a rule when class is almost over?
This behavior means you put papers where they need to go (take home folder, notebook, etc.)

When you're working quietly with a partner.
At the beginning of class before the pledge.
When you raise your hand and wait.
When you've earned free time.

Talking negatively about others race/color, weight, characteristics, difficulties learning, cursing or saying words that sound very close
