Being kind and thoughtful to others through words and actions.

In your backpack in your locker. Not in your desk!

Eyes on speaker, ears listening, body still = active listening!

Do not touch others or their things.

Your pencil broke in the middle of a lesson. What should you do?

Put your dull one in the dull cup, take a sharp pencil from the sharp cup. 


If there are none, look in the drawer by the sink.

How can you show respect to your teacher?

Listen, follow directions, be polite, make safe choices.

What should you do if you arrive late to school?

Quietly enter the room, give Mrs. Mackey your pink late pass from the office, join the class activity.

What should you do if you make a mistake when working?

Erase and try again - that is why pencils are made with erasers :)

Learn from the mistake, and keep trying your best!

Silent or voice off. 

Always silent on the ramp!

Can you replace your own supplies without asking?

Yes! Solve your missing materials problem by looking for crayons, pencils, erasers in the drawers by the sink. 

Remember, take ONLY what you need, and use them correctly.

What should you do if someone is being unkind?

Use an assertive but respectful voice, then tell and adult if the problem is not solved. Don't join in!

What should everyone hear during morning work time?

The musical timer. Quietly talking to a neighbor is ok, but no louder than a whisper because morning work is a quiet time.

Stay focused and on task

Whisper when working with a partner, if allowed

Choose a good learning space

On the chromebook rack, in number order, name facing the windows, and plugged in (if not fully charged already).
