No, if the account is written off and business partner does not have an active account (same revenue type), arrangements cannot be made with Entergy for the write-off account; however, business partners may contact the Collection Agency to request arrangements.

My grandfather has passed and I just received the refund check but the bank will not accept the check, is there anyway to resolve this?
Advise Executor or spouse to take the check and all legal documentation to the bank. Advise them to contact their bank first to see what the bank requirements are. Reissue in the original account holder’s name if needed. If the bank can’t or won’t do anything, then the requestor will need to send a copy of the Death Certificate and Executor of Estate papers, or other legal documentation to West Monroe One Point email - ONEPOINTCENTRAL@entergy.com, proving that they are the executor of the account holder’s estate. (Examples of other documentation are a Judgement of Possession, Affidavit of Small Succession).

A debt that becomes ‘out of statute’ does not in any way relieve the debt or make it go away! The debtor still owes the write off, Entergy can STILL use collection agencies and place a derogatory on that debtor’s credit file. Entergy does not withhold service or threaten to withhold service for an outstanding debt that is three years or older.
"Mr./Mrs. Customer, this does NOT affect the initiation of your service today, but I need to inform you that you have an older outstanding balance with Entergy that you could receive communication about from a 3rd party collection agency in the future. But again, it does not impact what we are doing today, just wanted to make you aware."

There are situations for offering same day or earlier commit date: Company error, Life threatening health problem, Severe weather conditions, Customer moved in from out-of-state, it's Friday or the day before a holiday
Why am I being charged a storm charge when i was not even living in the area at the time of the storm? Don’t you already get federal money to restore your system after these storms?
Utilities have to spend large sums immediately after the storm has passed in order to get electricity restored as soon as possible. By funding the storm reserve via the storm restoration charge, the LPSC and Entergy Louisiana were able to establish a reserve for future storms at a low cost to customers to ensure that adequate funds are available. Entergy Louisiana does not receive federal funding to cover the costs of rebuilding the electrical grid following storms.

If an existing customer requests service to be turned on at the new location before the service is turned off at the old location: All Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas accounts can be left on up to 15 business days at the old location without assessing another deposit for the new location. Beyond 15 business days accounts will be assessed deposit for the new location. Arkansas is required by regulatory mandate to provide a maximum of 90 calendar days dual service will be assessed deposit for the new location.
