What is 1. I would restate the quote in the introduction and explain what it means. I would explain how Melody is in a wheelchair and everyone thinks she can't do anything like the other kids but she's incredibly smart! The kids in her classes and some of her teachers really underestimated her. I would continue on in my description of Melody and how wrong people were about her abilities. In my conclusion I would write how important it is not to judge a book by its cover, and be sure to get to know people. 2. The Livingston Board of Education has heard about how well students in other countries perform in school. Most of these countries have school 6 days a week. The Board of Education is thinking about adding Saturday to the school week. Write a letter to the Board of Education letting them know whether you agree or disagree with this decision and give reasons and examples to support your opinion. State your opinion, provide 2 strong reasons to support your opinion and provide 3 things you will be sure to include in your writing.
What is: it is a terrible idea to have school 6 days a week because kids need time to spend with their families and do other activities and it would be too expensive to pay teachers to come in an extra day each week. I could include a strong hook (a question), transition words, examples from my life, a quote from a doctor or professor, a strong call to action and hyperbole.
