Gradual Release
Every student at NLRMS 7th/8th grade campus must come to class with these.
What are a pencil, paper, and chromebook?
The media center specialist at NLRMS7th/8th grade campus.
Who is Ms. Castaldo?
During this period students will be working on Success Maker in order to improve their math skills.
What is Math Lab?
Students pick up their Yonder pouch and chrome book for the day.
What is during 7th period?
Must have these in order to leave the classroom during class to go to the bathroom
What are my ID badge and a digital pass
The time that a student has to move from one class to their next class.
What is three minutes?
My English teacher(s) at NLRMS 7th/8th grade campus.
Who are Mr. Huff, Ms. Smith, Mr. Spurlock, Ms. Harris, and/or Ms. Wyckoff?
The driver picks up students in the morning to take them to school and picks them up in the afternoon to take them home.
What is a school bus?
Determines when students have to be in class and when they go to lunch.
What is 5th period?
Students at NLRMS 7th/8th grade campus walk through here to return to the main building after lunch.
What is the walkway of the gym?
Students get one of these whey they they are late to class.
What is a tardy?
The three deans of NLRMS 7th/8th grade campus.
Who are Mr. Evans, Ms. Williams, and Ms. White.
What are blue & gold?
Being polite & courteous to everyone in the building.
What is respect?
To remain absolutely quiet inside the locked classroom, away from the windows and/or door, with the lights out.
What is an active shooter lockdown?
All cell phones and other electronic devices should be placed here and locked at the beginning of the day, and carried with students,
What is a Yonder Pouch?
The three assistant principals of NLRMS 7th/8th grade campus.
Who are Ms. Well, Mr. Robertson, and Ms. Cresswell.
Must be turned in upon returning to school so that an absence can be excused.
What is a parent note?
Happens on weeks when school is in session for students and teachers all five days, but only effects students.
What is early release Wednesdays?
The time not permitted to leave class to go to the bathroom
What are the 1st 15 or the last 15 minutes of class?
Students should always do this when an adult in the classroom is speaking to the class.
What is not talking?
The principal of NLRMS 7th/8th grade campus.
Who is Ms. Harris?
Only thing allowed to be used by students to carry their books and Chromebook.
What is a clear/mesh backpack?
Federal court case that states that as long as students have time to go the restroom between classes & at lunch teachers do not have to let them out of class to go the restroom.
