While working as a bartender at SSP (a restaurant company at YVR) Noreen has been sprayed with beer by changing kegs multiple times... This particular beer has a potent smell and lowkey traumatizes them.

Noreen's ex broke up with them the day after the first Worker's Appreciation Lunch of the term and the day before this important red letter date/mobilization.
What is the 53rd Anniversary of Martial Law?
Noreen was born in Canada, but growing up their first language was not English. In addition to Tagalog, they were using this language at home fluently before forced assimilation through the elementary school education system.

This popular Granville strip club that played predominantly White-girl pop anthems is where Noreen did some explicit things for a stranger in an alley, went back into the club, fell down the stairs, and got kicked out. Drink responsibly, y'all.

Prior to joining Sulong, Noreen attended and participated in an Educational Discussion facilitated by Anakbayan in 2020. This would change their view on the conditions of Filipinos living in their diaspora and motivate them to struggle alongside their fellow kababayan.
What is Philippine Society and Revolution?
Noreen was an active member of their high school dragon boat team, Quantum Blue, and later at UBC, UBC Current. Before their last year before retirement in 2021, Noreen preferred to paddle on this side until they were forced to fill for paddlers on their "off-side".

Prior to working at Starbucks Sea Island Way, Noreen worked at another Starbucks location when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the store to close and workers to go into lockdown.
