Gosho
The Gosho is a collection of writings by Nichiren Daishonin, a 13th-century Japanese Buddhist. It is a collection of scriptures that are considered to be a work of faith, philosophy, and daily living.
“To open the writings of Nichiren Daishonin each day, to read them and study them—this is the way for us to live and strive together with the Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law.” (Ikeda Sensei, The Wisdom for Creating Happiness and Peace, part 2, revised edition, p. 286)
Name of the Gosho for today's study
The Heritage of the Ultimate Law of Life, written on the eleventh day of the second month in 1272 to Sairen-bo, explains that Nichiren's disciples can inherit the heritage of the ultimate law of life and death only by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and creating a unity that transcends "all differences among themselves."
