How is a bill passed
A bill needs to be presented in the house or senate, then taken to a committee to get voted on and edited, if it passes it’ll go to the floor and get voted on there and changed if needed, then it’ll pass to the other chamber and repeat the process there, then both versions of the bill will be discussed by both chambers in the congressional committee, then a final version of the bill will be voted on and sent to the president to get the final decision.
