DIET
A person who generally enjoys a healthy diet can occasionally enjoy a pizza.
MODERATION
We measure energy in:
Kcals/ Calories
I follow a healthy diet, I can enjoy a pizza once a week in moderation
Discretionary Kcals
Our food choice should not overemphasize one particulare nutrient (eg. High protein diet) at the expence of another
BALANCE
These 2 foods contain only one type of nutrient
Sugar only contains carbs + Oil only contains fats/lipids

Functional Foods
