How does every job use numbers in some way?
All jobs use numbers in some way. Writing cheques, reading books, counting money, etc.
What is standard form?
Expressing numbers with numbers.
Ex) 275 is 275
What is pictorial form?
Shown in the form of a picture. ex) Drawing base ten blocks
What is expanded form?
A way to express numbers in each of their values. ex) 4671 would be 4000+600+70+1 in expanded form

What example did I use to remember ascending and descending?
The plane. When a plane is descending I think of it as I am already high up and we are going down. When a plane is ascending we are starting on the ground and going up.
