Ceramic Sealant. This chemical is applied to the exterior of your vehicle to protect against external paint damage. It is a nanoscopic paint treatment that's applied in liquid form, but cures to form a hard layer over your vehicle's paint.
What piece of equipment helps to avoid collisions? Where is it located?
The EMX pad is located at the end of the tunnel on the exit pad.
What is one of the main reasons the conveyor might not start? What can you check on the MCC?
The powerpack is low on oil. You can check the green "oil OK" lights on the MCC.
What type of coins are accepted at the XPTs? What type of coins do we dispense?
We only accept quarters. We dispense quarters and nickels.
How do you add a wash to the queue?
Sign into current user, open, select the wash, rewash discount, move to first in queue.
What soap comes out of the undercarriage? What does it do?
Rustite. This chemical is applied to the underside of the vehicle and is a rust inhibitor.
What piece of equipment is used to accurately align the vehicles tires as they pull into the wash?
The correlator.
How many powerpacks do we have and what pieces of equipment do they power?
We have three powerpacks. They are responsible for powering the rocker brushes,, bison brushes, and most importantly the conveyor.
How many sensors are at the XPTs in the ground? Where exactly are they located?
There are 2 sensors. The first is located at the XPT, the second is located at the gate.
How do you print a guarantee?
Go to the office tab, select prepaid lookup, select desired rewash, select cash.
What soap is on the premier but not on the select?

How many decks are there to the conveyor? What brings the rollers to the top level?
There are three decks. The fork creates a ramp to bring rollers from the second to the third.
What piece of equipment is used on a powerpack to adjust the speed at which the equipment operates?
A flow control valve. When adjusted it will speed up or slow down the flow of oil to the motor. We most commonly change the conveyor speed depending on car volume for the day.

What does clearcoat polish do, and which wash or washes gets it?
Clearcoat polish is referred to as a drying agent. It works to make the water bead up and helps dry the vehicle. Every wash we offer has clearcoat polish.
What does CTA stand for? What soap is dispensed from them and what is its purpose?
Chemical tire applicator. Wheel cleaner is applied on the vehicles wheels to clean them and get rid of break dust.
What piece of equipment mixes our soap with water? What pieces of equipment are used to make up the soap to water ratio?
The hydraflex is responsible for mixing our soaps and water together. Injectors control how much water (GPM) is used and versidials or metering tips control the amount of chemical used.
What customer information should always be obtained when signing up a new customer for a membership?
Name, phone number, email, vehicle make, model, color, and license plate number.
How do you activate a membership purchased online? What is the difference between activating prepaid ARM plans vs club plans?
Scan a fast pass, go to the office tab, select "enter prepaid #", scan or enter in the code. If it is an ARM plan you must swipe a credit card, if it is a club plan select cash, then gather customer information. Lastly mark wash done to get a CPW status.

Basic - 1 dose
Select - 1 dose

What direction do the wraps and rocker brushes spin?
Wraps - with vehicle travel
Rockers - against vehicle travel
What are motor savers and what do they do? If a motor saver goes off what do we do?
The motor savers monitor the power supply and protect electrical motors from damage due to power surges. If a motor saver trips and turns off a piece of equipment you should let all of management know and immediately put in a work order. NEVER turn it back on yourself.
