Each week the Maintenance Director will test the hot water temperature in a variety of areas within the community. All apartments or areas accessible to residents will be tested within the period of one month. As an alternative in large communities the temperature of the hot water heaters will be checked and logged at least once a week and a random sample of apartments and accessible areas will be checked on a monthly basis. The Maintenance Director will log the water temperatures on a Hot Water Temperature form. The results will be reviewed at the monthly Safety Meeting. At the end of the month the Maintenance Director will enter the temperatures taken into the TELS system.
