What is anaphylaxis?
Anaphylaxis is a serious and overwhelming, systemic, allergic reaction to a protein that enters the body. It can be caused by a variety of substances ranging from bee venom to certain food products and medications.

What is night paddle policy?
*The e-light goes in boat one and a headlamp in the last boat. *If a boat comes by, you shine the lights toward the direction of the boat and then on the reflective tape of the canoes. *PFDs must be worn. *Canoes should be 1-2 boat lengths apart. *An instructor should be in the lead and sweep boat. *Talking should be quiet enough for the instructional team to communicate. *Boat checks will be called out. *Will not happen during training, unless students have gotten practice during canoe training in unloaded boats.
