Annual Exam- Must be at least 1 year and 1 day from the last ANN appt.
What is a PKN appt? How old does the PT have to be and what else must they have to even qualify for this appt type?
Postmenopausal/Abnormal Uterine Bleeding NEW - PT must be at least 45 years old and must still have a Uterus.
What is a CCA appt? Can we schedule these?
Consult Clinic Appt - Yes, but only if permission is given from the clinic.
What is an NPA appt? What age group goes to each location?
New Pediatric Appointment - Ages 0-11 go to Children's Location and ages 12-17 go to WIC unless directed to do otherwise from the clinic.
What appt type do we schedule return PTs for injections and urinalysis for STD screening?
NUR - Nurse Visit
What is a PPV? When are these typically scheduled?
Post Partum Visit - these are scheduled within 6-8 weeks after the delivery of their baby. PT must also have had their baby delivered at UAB w/ a UAB provider.
What is considered to be a NEW PT?
Any PT that has never been seen or someone that has not been seen within the past 3 years.
In order to see DR Gleason or DR Jenkins, what must you have?
You must have a referral AND an issue. You cant have one or the other. The PT must have both. (Referral for Annual Exam is NOT considered an issue)
