Bible is one point. Lines represent interpretations of a doctrine. There are an infinite number of lines that can go through that one point, just as there are an infinite number of ways a doctrine can be interpreted. But if you introduce a second point (the BofM), there is only one line (interpretation) that can go through both of them.
