How do I get assistance when I am in my room?
Use the call bell. Push the button on the end of the call bell cord and someone will come to assist you. It's important to be patient and wait for help to arrive before getting up.

What is a reacher and what is it used for?
A reacher is a device that I can use to pick things up that are out of reach. I can use it instead of reaching or bending over to pick things up. This will decrease risk for falls.

Anytime I want to get up out of bed or my wheelchair, if I need help getting to the bathroom, if I need help changing clothes. Any time I need help at all, I can ring my call bell and someone will come to assist.
