What color is associated with the Lock Down Drill?
RED (means stop or stay), Red is also the color for Weather Drills, however we use Green (means go) for Fire Drill. Black(quick exit) it will be announced over the intercom with "Can Ms. Black please come to the office!"
Where do we go if our classroom is quarantined?
You will be cleaning your classroom and helping get your classroom opened again or you will be asked to help with your students in another room.
What do we do when a child first arrives in your room?
Morning drop off: take temperature and wash child's hands
Transitioning in: wash child's hands
What do we do if there is a severe thurnderstorm happening outside while we are at school?
avoid going outside and windows
When do we get out the emergency bongos?
In the event of a Ringo-Warm infection
what do you do if you are outside with your students and we are doing a drill?
Green Drills: Stay where you are, do name to face and know how many students you have
Red Drill: Come back inside as safely and quickly as possible, do name to face and know how many students you have
Black Drill: Quick Exit, confirm all your students got out and get to Dragon Lanes
How will we notify you when a lock down is over?
We will give an "all clear" through the phone system
What dose it mean to wash and sanitize the toys?
Wash all toys by fully submerging into a a soap and water tub.
Dip or spray quat on toys
Take soft toys to laundry
Who decides if WOW is closed for weather?

Who helps teachers with safety drills?
Floating staff, directors and department specialist (those not currently needed for age groupings ratio)

Fire, Lock Down and Weather

What do we do if there is a Tornado warning and alarms are sounding? (not noon on Wednesday)
Shelter in Place: RED
grab emergency backpack, flashlight and all children and go to your rooms safe location
What do we do in the event off a Glitter Bomb?
Glitter will be contained and area quarantined, staff member will sweep up glitter and dispose in the dumpster
What is required for you to take with you in the event of an Emergency or drill?
classroom backpack with emergency binder, recuse medications, flashlight.
Bonus if you have something to entertain scared children
Where can you find your classrooms evacuation and lock down plan?
In your classroom on your building map beside your hallway door
When do we send a child home sick?
undiagnosed rashes, Severe coughing and breathing issues, Diarrhea (3 or more in 24 hrs.), Fever over 100.1, Pick or red eyes with discharge, Vomit (twice with at least 15 minutes between events), signs of lice or parasite
What happens in the event of a flash flood?
Everyone is come inside, if water begins to enter the building we will evacuate to higher ground or safety locations with emergency backpacks and name to face attendance will be taken
What happens when there is a loss of power/heat/water?
utilities are called, parents will be contacted if impact will last a significant amount of time
What do we do during a Yellow Stone Super Volcano or Lake Toba Super Volcano (Indonesia)?
Parents are called, updates are posted on social media/website and through Pro care parent application and care will be provide till all parents can safely pick up their children

What is the exclusion time frame for a child exposed to COVID currently
There is none unless they have symptoms and we follow all other sick policy
What do we do in the event of a Shark-nado?
Mirranda will punch the shark in the nose and everyone else will follow tornado procedures.

What happens in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse?
Children will be relocated to the Army National Guard, all children will be cared for and protected until parents, who are not infected, can safely retrieve their children.
