Explain what happened in the Garden of Eden when Lucifer came into the garden and what happened after. 

Lucifer convinced Eve to eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil, then Eve convinced Adam to take of the fruit, they hid from God when they realized they were naked, and God discovered they had eaten of the fruit and been tempted by Lucifer, they were forced to leave the Garden of Eden and go to Earth to multiply and replenish the Earth and they will have sorrows and struggles.

Summarize Pharaoh's dream & Joseph’s interpretation of it 

  • Joseph tells Potpher that his dream means that there will be 7 years of famine in the land, after 7 very plenteous years. Joseph recommended to him that he should take ⅕ of all grain during this 7 plentiful years and store them to use during the famine. 
  • Genesis 41: 42-44: Pharaoh knew that this interpretation came from the Spirit of God and he released him as a prisoner and set him to rule over all of Egypt

Who were the two people in prison that Joseph interpreted dreams for and which one them was sentenced to death and which one was released?

Pharaoh’s Chief Butler and Chief Baker. The Chief Butler was released and the Chief Baker was sentenced to death. 

While in prison, Joseph interprets the prisoners dreams. He interprets the dream of Pharoah’s chief butler and also Pharoh’s chief baker. He tells them that one will be sentenced to death and one will be forgiven and released, and this comes to pass. Then in the future, when the Pharaoh cannot find someone to properly interpret a dream that he kept having, the chief butler remembers Joseph and tells him of him.
