I broke the hopes and dreams of thousands of Expos fans when I hit a homerun in the 9th inning of the 1981 NLCS game 5(CS were best of 5 until 1985), sending the Dodgers to the World Series. This event is known as "Blue Monday" in the province.

Rick Monday might be more known south of the border for saving a burning American flag, but he'll haunt Expos fans forever with the most important homerun of his MLB career.
