Here at Dance Marathon, we like to remind ourselves why we decided to join this amazing organization, why we stay, or why we fundraise.

What is a Miracle Kid?
A Miracle Kid and family is someone from OLOLCH that is actively being treated or has previously been treated there. They are the ambassadors for our fight and the faces behind all of our asks. They range from all ages and show that pediatric illness can come at any point. They attend events throughout the year and leadership members are able to attend our family events we host.
What is DonorDrive?
DonorDrive is the fundraising platform that TM at LSU uses to help you keep track of your fundraising efforts throughout the year.
What is the thing you post on your story to help with fundraising and tracking each donation called?

What is a Campus Partner Manger and who is ours?
A CPM is someone from Children’s Miracle Network that is our direct contact line to CMN Dance Marathon. They are one of three advisors that Tiger Miracle has to help with planning and programming. They are the national connection and expert on all things best practices and information. They meet mostly with the President bi-weekly -- Ours is Taylor!
What does it mean to "Activate"?
When a participant activates it means that they are actively posting and sharing the message and attempting to fundraise. It means that they are not on $0 and have begun their fundraising efforts for the year. There are many ways to activate including posting, texting, calling, emailing etc.
What is a DD Milestone and where can you set them?
From your fundraising page there will be an option to set milestones, which can be anything you want them to be, to get your donors interested in helping you reach your goal!
Who has to sign accountability agreements?
Everyone in leadership!

What is concessions?
Concessions is a requirement for leadership members and an option for participants to fundraise by working a concession stand for an LSU sporting events. Leadership members are required to work one football concessions in the fall, unless they are a graduating senior then they can switch it out for two volleyball games, and then two concessions of your choice in spring.
How can you thank a Donor via DD?
Once you get a donation, click on it. From there, there will be a button that says ‘thank donors’ with an automated reply, unless you want to personalize it.
If you are not an active member at the end of the year what do you miss out on?
Voting for exec and banquet! :(

What is a Matching Hour?
A matching hour is where an external partner or company is going dollar for dollar that is donated toward Tiger Miracle. This allows you to double your donation and double its impact.
What is the Miracle Cup and what can you get points for?
Miracle cup is an internal competition between teams to see who is the best team on leadership. There are a large variety of ways that you can get points including attending events, commenting and sharing our instagram, hitting fundraising goals and more.
What social media platform can you link a fundraiser to on DonorDrive?
Facebook! When you log on to DonorDrive, there is a button that says "Create Facebook Fundraiser." From there you just follow the prompts and you’re done!
When do you have to meet your fundraising goal as a leadership member?
BEFORE big event!!!!
Where can a Why come from?
Is it a miracle kid’s story? Is it a family member? Is it a friend? Is it your career? Is it your passion for helping the kids? --> it can come from any where and anything!
What does BOTB stand for?
Battle of the Bars!
What is a Team Captain?
A team captain is someone who is in charge of a Greek, Student Org, or Res Life team. Their job is to be the liaison between Tiger Miracle and their organizations team to spread the message and awareness of our cause. They are required to recruit people to their team and make sure that they are actively fundraising and participating.
How do you get Venmo donations into DD?
You can transfer donations from your Venmo account straight to your DonorDrive! Just make a donation to yourself, choose the Venmo option, and log in to your Venmo account.
How many retreat points do you have to have in total for the year?
Two! One fall and one spring!
