to be endowed with power in a house of the Lord, sealed as families, faithful to covenants made in a temple that qualify us for the greatest gift of God—that of eternal life
What is the ultimate purpose of life?
striving for moral cleanliness in your thoughts and behavior
What is a requirement to receive a temple recommend?
the Creation of the earth, the Fall of Adam and Eve, the plan of redemption through Jesus Christ, and our own journey back to the presence of God
What teachings are in the endowment ceremony?
The more people that live their covenant relationship with Jesus Christ, the more this power is diminished
What is Satan's power?
It is a physical reminder of sacred promises they have made with their Heavenly Father, and it reminds members of the blessings they can receive if they honor their commitments.
Why do endowed members wear the temple garment?
strengthening your life, your marriage and family, and your ability to resist the attacks of the adversary
