What therapist stated ,while in high school, I was helping a friend do some research about physical therapy for a career shadowing opportunity. As we were reading about it (in an encyclopedia in the school library lol) it said something about occupational therapy. So I picked up volume O and started researching OT. It said that occupational therapy was holistic in its approach to treatment and I found that really interesting. I filled out my own career shadowing research form, shadowed an OT, and decided at 17 that OT was the career for me!
