What is a Muffin Snipe?
When we are trying to complete a line change on a dump in, one player of the changing line should stay on the ice and do this. (Be specific)
What is pressure to the bench side of the ice?
Our defense should use this skill to stop the other team from entering the zone.
What is a forward gap?
This is the goal of the top forward on the penalty kill.
What is cut off the top/force them to the wall?
The best teammate in a game is referred to as this.
What is a Dolphin?
This shot area is where we want to receive passes when F1 has the puck behind the net. It is a high scoring area and is hard for the opposing team to intercept a pass to this area.
What is dot lane?
This neutral zone play occurs when our defense receive the puck on the offensive side of the red line, and our forwards are looping with speed back into the zone.

What is a counter?
This is where we want to keep the opposing team.
What is outside the dots?
DOUBLE JEOPARDY
On a 5 on 3 penalty kill, the defense and forwards should position themselves in this shape.
What is an L?
These two things are controllable regardless of if you are having a good or bad game.
What is body language and effort?
This shot type comes from outside the dots, leaves the stick of the shooting player after 2.5 seconds, and involves no screen or angle change.
What is a red shot?
When set up with possession in the offensive zone, the weak side D should be positioned here.
Where is in line with the weak side neutral zone face off dot?
On the PP, when there is a battle in the corner or on the half wall for the puck, the weak side flank should do this.
What is seal the weak side wall?
The bench should be just as loud for this as they are for a goal.
What is a blocked shot?
On an odd player rush, this type of shot should be taken when you do not have a clear scoring opportunity, but have a player driving the net on the weak side of the ice.
What is a far pad shot/shot for a rebound?
DOUBLE JEOPARDY
This position is most commonly yelled by the coaches while the team is in the offensive zone, has a high shot percentage, and is crucial in allowing us to hold the zone.
What is F3?
When the opposing team is shooting and their screen is inside the posts, our defence should do this.
What is front the puck?
In our penalty kill, the net front D should be positioned in this way.
What is between the net front player and bumper?
This motto involves players buying into the game plan, battling through adversity, and improving over time.
What is Trust the Process?
In a 6 on 5 situation with less than 4 seconds on the clock, this face off play should be ran.

When we are retrieving the puck in our D Zone on a dump in, and have clear possession of the puck, the third player in the zone should be in this position.
