SHINE! Let them see you at Shine. You should be at work; don't leave your seat or call out to the visitor.

What are the procedures for using the restroom during the day?
1. If at all possible, go before school or during lunch. 2. Don't ask to go while Mrs. Patterson is talking to the whole group. 3. Don't ask to go during an assembly. 4. Go any time that Mrs. Patterson is NOT talking, as long as the pass is available; Grab Pass and place it on your desk. You don't have to ask (so please don't interrupt me to ask!) Don't abuse this privilege! 5. ALWAYS: Walk to and from the bathroom silently and behave responsibly in the bathroom.

Immediately stop talking and say "YES YES" in the same voice that she used.

What is one thing to remember about using the Smartboard responsibly?
1. Don't use a dry-erase marker or any writing utensil other than the ones on the tray on the Smartboard. 2. One person at a time touches the screen. 3. The Smartboard is a tool, not a toy.

When is it okay to get a drink of water?
1. Don't ask to get a drink while a teacher is talking to the whole group. 2. During independent work time, it's okay to get a drink from the classroom fountain without asking. 3. Water bottles are okay as long as the lid is on; they need to be kept on the back counter any time we are using technology. 4. No liquid except water is allowed in the classroom.

you should make sure that you are plugging it in so that it isn't dead next time and you should get up and go get another one that isn't being used until yours' is charged back up.

What is the proper way to stand and walk in line?
Line up alphabetically. The door opener of the day holds all of the doors. Don't touch anyone or anything (including the walls). Stop at all designated stops. Any time you are in a line you need to be completely, 100% silent, whether you are walking or standing still. One exception: it's okay to talk while you are waiting in the lunch line inside the cafeteria.

1. Wait your turn 2. Unplug charging cord carefully and place it back in the correct slot. 2. walk carefully back to your spot and wait for instructions before opening.
