Example: I use this commitment outside by making sure my head is facing forward when running to keep people safe. If my head isn't facing forward, or to the side, I could run into someone
Looking eyes
This is the one and only slide that I am not allowed to climb up. I also have to make sure that I slide down on ONLY my pockets/bottom
Twirly slide
These are the places I can play tag
Grass, blacktop.
NO big toy
Example: My teachers blow their whistles or tell us it's time to come inside. I grab our SAC equipment and line up as soon as I hear them tell us these things.
Listening ears
These animals are on our playground and they are mean. I leave them alone and ignore them.
Geese
Where I should not go in the field or the grass
In the gardens or up the hill
Example: When I am playing tag, I make sure that I safely and calmly tag my friends using only a couple of fingers, and not my whole hand, and making sure I don't push them.
Safe Body and Safe Hands
This is how I swing
On my pockets, front to back, and nothing else
What my friends don't like when we're playing
My body being unsafe
Example: I can make sure that I don't scream and yell super duper loud when we're outside, because my teachers think that I could be hurt when I do this.
This is what I make sure I do before I cross the street
I make sure that I STOP!!! at the slow guys, and look both ways for cars before crossing.
What might happen if I don't follow the SAC rules
Owing time, going inside
Example: When I am crossing the street, I use this commitment, until I reach the blacktop, to make sure that I am staying safe. It involves my FEET.
Walking feet
Whatever I bring out, I bring in
Where do the basketballs, soccer balls, all equipment NOT go
All balls stay OFF the big toy
