What is the quorum required to conduct business during a meeting?
To promote public and professional awareness of the services and supports offered by P2P in the communities of Georgia and to provide comprehensive information and referral services on behalf of anyone, birth to 26 with a disability.
What are the purposes of P2P

What is the number of terms a board member may serve consecutively?
Must be a board member for at least one year prior to being elected to this role and shall preside at board meetings; shall be an exofficio member of all committees and shall appoint committee chairpersons.
Who is the president?
Submit a written proxy to make sure quorums are met.
What should a board member do when they cannot attend a meeting?
All activities of P2P shall not be denied to anyone because of race, color, age, creed, religion, national origin, economic status, gender, political views, disability or ethnic consideration. Furthermore the agency will take proactive measures necessary to comply with all existing state, federal and local employment laws.
What is the non-discrimination policy of P2P?
At least 51% of the members shall be the parent or sibling of a person with a disability or otherwise directly experience a disability.
What is the composition of the board?
Shall preside in the absence of the president and the vice president, shall submit a financial report to the board at each meeting.
Who is the treasurer?
at least 2/3 (two thirds) of the members must provide a response by email.
What is the quorum for vote/board action without a meeting?
Employed by the Board of Directors
Who is the Executive Director?
Absence from three meetings in a year without valid reason, other non-performance of duties and failure to adhere to the principles and standards of P2P.
What the reason for removing a member of the board of director prior to the expiration of their term?
Consists of the officers of P2P and the Executive Director, who is a non-voting member and addresses any matter authorized by a quorum of the board and issues of true emergency or urgent status.
