Number of times you are required to chart BP location, method & cuff size and SPO2 site (if nothing has changed).

A child post-tonsillectomy who has a rash should have (at minimum) these 5 areas documented on while in the PACU.
IV site assessment should occur at minimum at these 2 points in PACU care.
What are admission and prior to transfer?
Documentation in this section is required for all non-English speaking patients and families.
What is Language/Interpreter?
This is the standard order for the range of IVF to be given in PACU (mL/kg/hour).
What is 1-5 mL/kg/hour?
This score must be calculated prior to discharge for all patients going to a post-op unit.
What is BPEWS?
Chart the patient's cast in this section.

A progress note is required for all patients who have a PACU stay of over this amount of time.
