What is reinforce/reward?
These are if/then and when/then statements that help children anticipate what will happen next

This the parenting style with the best outcomes
What is authoritative parenting?
This happens after a behavior
What is C, consequence?
We do this to decrease the likelihood of a behavior happening again in the future
What is punish?
These are direct statements that tell children exactly what to do
What are commands?
When children repeat behaviors they see, they are learning through this
What is modeling and imitation? (Social Learning Theory)
This is what the action the child does
This is one of the strongest reinforcers for children (especially younger children)
What is attention?
This specific set of skills helps develop positive parent-child interactions, encourages problem-solving, and helps children to understand their emotions
What is active listening?
This is important for parents to do after experiences conflict/ruptures with their children
What is a repair? (apology/accountability)
This must be observable/visible in order to define it
What is behavior?
We use this to stop undesirable behaviors that are reinforced by attention
