You are working on a group project, and one member is not completing their portion. You have repeatedly had to finish their work.

 "I feel ____ because ____. Can you please _______"

Example: I feel frustrate because I am having to do all of the work for a project that is supposed to be split between a group. Can you please do your work or let me know if you need help with work?

T/F: Using negative reinforcement encourages negative behavior.

False! Trick question ;)

Negative reinforcement is when something that is already present is removed as a result of behavior.

An example of negative reinforcement: I have wet hands after washing them. I rub my hands in a towel and the water is now removed from them. I know that every time I don't want wet hands I can use a towel to remove the water. I use a towel every time I want to remove water from my hands.

Before: hands are wet

Behavior: rub hands in the towel

After: water is gone from hands

**Future behavior: rubbing hands each time hands are wet to dry them.
