What is Cantle?

What is belly band or girth?

What is Skirt?
These are attached to the collar or breast strap to help secure the cart to the harness.
What are traces?
This strap runs beneath the horse's chin in a double bridle, attaching to the curb bit and controlling the leverage of the curb chain.
This buckles to the ring on the front of the breechen. You run your tug thru it to hold it up just before the back legs.
