A Biography is a story written about someone elses life where an Autobiography is a story written by oneself about their own life.

Figurative Language is a word or phrase used to make the story dramatic; not used in everyday language. Simile: Compares 2 unlike things using like or as. Metaphor: Compares 2 unlike things without like or as. Personification: Animal characters/things which have human qualities. Onomatopia: Words that make sounds. Idiom: A saying that doesn't mean what it is. Alliteration:Repetition of the same initial consonant sound of several words.

Captions tells you what the photograph or illustration is about! And labels point out important parts in the diagram, photograph, or illustration.
