It can take up to 72 business hours for a dr to put in the recommendation, once a patient has made the online payment through the registry, they will received their digital card instantly or in some cases within 24 hours.

Situation: A patient calls in from another MMJ company in Ohio and they're wanting to renew with us, what steps do you take?
1. Add new pt into Intake via "Add Client"
2. Confirm with the Registry team that pt is a renewal pt.
3. Book Renewal Appt
4. Add in Appt Window and Communication Note: Pt New to OMC
5. Let pt know we need Intake, ID and MR (You can request a delegate / MR team to pull this record)

How do you merge a patient account?
1. Have both accounts that need merged pulled up
2. Verify demographic information matches on both accounts.
3. Go to the account (usually the oldest) and copy the client ID of the account you want to keep.
4. Go to the account you want to merge into the other (usually the newer account)
5. Go to the 3 dots in the top right corner of intake and select > Merge Into
6. Paste the client ID of the account you copied (usually the older account). Select the account when it pops up.
7. Copy the merge information and then Merge the accounts.
8. Go to authnet and open up the "Update Client ID" and "Add Missing Appointments".
9. Put the email through both of these tabs and add anything needed. If the emails are different, put other email on the intake and save then repeat process.
10. Fact check, make sure all information is correct, up-to-date and that we brought over any tags and/or payment information, and that a comment of the merge with its merge information is correct
How do our New Patient payment plans work and how much does the patient pay?
*Double Jeopardy: Can a patient pay off their payment plan early , and does it save them money?*
The payment plan is 3x payments of $90.
The payment dates are based on when the first $90 payment was taken and are about 30 days a part for billing duration.
Other than the first $90 payment, the final two payments are automatically billed and the patient is only eligible for the payment plan if they agree to their payment information being saved.
A Patient will end up paying $270 in total
Double Jeopardy: Yes they can pay off their payment plan early but there is no discount, they would be paying off the remaining $180 or $90.
What's the new caregiver process? How long can it take before a caregiver can enter the dispensary?
1. We verify with the pt that the cg they want is at least 21 years of age and a resident of Ohio.
2. A payment of $20 is submitted to link a new caregiver, we send them a form to fill out and the pt must submit it back and send in their CG ID attached.
2. Once a pt is current, the caregiver is registered into the ohio medical marijuana registry (the state website)
3. The caregiver must log in and pay their state fee
4. The caregiver must wait for their background check to be approved before they go in to pick up and purchase for the patient.
In what case and how many proofs of residency does a patient need to submit?
