Would you get overtime pay if you worked 40 hours and took 10 hours of PTO/UTO?
No. Anything over 40 hours WORKED would be paid at a time and a half rate. Since in this example only 40 hours were working hours and 10 hours we personal time there was no overtime.

VTO - Voluntary Time Off - This is usually given in a 1st come 1st serve basis depending on business need. VTO is not a guarantee for time off. It is a tool used when the workload is low.
VET - Voluntary Extra Time - You can sign up to work extra hours when available.
MET - Mandatory Extra Time - This often happens during peak requiring you to work extra time on top of your normal scheduled hours.
