You forgot to punch in, whats the first thing you do?
Notify Caley immediately
What are the parameters around taking a break?
If a shift is 7.5 hours or more, one 30 minute break must be taken within the first 5 hours of shift
When are timecards due?
Every other sunday by 5pm
When you need to call off or use a sick day, what is the process?
At least 2 hours prior to shift starting (or as early as you can given the situation) Caley needs to be called or texted directly
What type of call off it is/why you need to call off (if you are sick, i do not need to know what sickness you have; if you have an emergency you can communicate it as such; personal days are not justified call offs)
You forgot to punch in, you let caley know, what is the next step?
Punch request to add the forgotten punch
If you forget to clock a break, what is the process?
Notify caley immediately, Punch request to have them added in; be mindful that even though I am notified and the punches get added in, excessive punch requests is against paycom policy
What should your timecard look like by review time on sunday at 5pm?
Timecard should be edited so that Caley can approve without needing to ask for edits
-all edits input and completed by 5pm that Sunday
-all OT approvals are emailed and approved
If you take time off or you use sick time, how much gets added to your timecard?
The amount needed to make 40 hours for the work week
How many punches (in and out) should you have for a typical work shift?
4 punches (in day, out break, in break, out day)
If you are unable to take a break one day, what is the process to follow?
Notify caley as soon as you are aware you are unable to take a break with the reason why (should be within the same day the break wasnt able to be taken)
What happens if I dont complete my edits by 5pm Sunday?
Caley has the right to approve your timecard as is; if it contains errors, false information, or is missing approvals, it can still be approved and will be followed with accountability
What is the process for requesting PTO?
2 weeks in advance; discuss PTO in supervision so Caley can note it in the schedule, put in PTO hours in paycom for time taken off
How many punches requests is too many per a pay period?
Ideally more than 1, but less than 3 (assuming it was communicated to caley!!!)
What is an acceptable reason to not take a break?
If you are actively working with clients throughout the duration of your shift (when supporting units during OT, TR events that are an all day event)
If you have concerns regarding your timecard, who are the 2 people you can go to for answers?
Caley and Estephani
