Vision benefits cover refractive care and materials only. Vision providers' contracts specifically say they will not cover any medical diagnosis or treatments. Those must be filed the patient's medical plan. Also, the doctor will change the visit to an office visit. Because of the infection, the refraction likely will not really be good.
