In regards to our class meetings, it is important that you do this on a regular basis.

The Final Exam for this class will be administered online and due December 19. However, this class will meet during Finals Week. On what date and for what times will we meet during Finals Week.
We will meet during Finals Exam week on Wednesday, December 13 from 9:30 AM to 11:20 AM. The final is due online, so we will use our class time for our Cultural Artifact assignment.

According to the syllabus what is "highly encouraged?"
ACTIVE PARTICIPATION
You are excused from taking the Final Exam (worth 40 points) if you have enough points to where not taking the Final exam would not impact your A grade. What is the least number of points must you achieve for the semester in order for you to keep your A grade without taking the final?
Hint: The total possible points for this course is 600.
If you have 580 points, if you skip the final exam, you will have 540 points, which is the lowest amount of points you can have and still earn an A grade for the semester. There are no plus or minus grades at Las Positas College.
