This event is a great opportunity for the PCRA to connect with their floor community and allow people to get to know each other.
What is the First Floor Meeting?
A form that will be filled out by each roommate in their respective living space. It includes information on cleanliness, study habits and bedtime preferences.
What is the Roommate Agreement?
An area the on-duty RA and Weekend Office Hours RAs utilize to be accessible and visible to the residents.
What is the Pride Room?
They are located at 30 Waterman Street and are here to ensure the wellbeing of every student.
What is public safety?
An activity RAs can encourage residents to engage in conversation with one another and make the floor meeting fun.
What is an icebreaker?
What is the responsibility of each community member?
To be respectful, hygienic and make good decisions.
They are a mentor and resource for pre-college students who also support community building.
What is an RA (Resident Advisor)?
This policy requires residents to be in their assigned residence hall from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am Monday-Thursday and 11:00 pm to 5:00 am Friday/Saturday.
What is the curfew policy?
The area that each of the floor meetings should take place in.
What is the respective lounge that the RA lives on?
All residents should sign this agreement by the end of the first floor meeting. It includes expectations for overall cleanliness and handling conflict (if it arises).
What is the Community Agreement?
The time and frequency for which the on-duty RA is available and in the office.
What is 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily?
If broken, this policy will more than likely lead to a student being automatically dismissed from the program.
What is the alcohol/drugs policy?
This is the date and *potential* time that floor meetings should be held on move-in day.

What is the end of the first floor meeting?
They are professional staff members who serve on duty, oversee conduct hearings, and are also a resource for residents.
What is an RD (Resident Director)?
This policy highlights that only individuals 16 years of age or older (and who are family members) are permitted into the residence halls but NOT allowed to stay overnight.
What is the guest policy?
The first thing an RA should do at their first floor meeting.
