Payment can be made from checking or savings account.
Advise member that a website account has to be set up prior to making a premium payment through the website.

• Credit Card (Recurring) (click to show/hide)
CCPs should not actively offer recurring credit card payments. This method of payment should only be discussed by Credit Card Agents during the 1-Time Credit Card Process. If the member mentions Credit Card as a MOP option, CCPs will follow the 1-Time Credit Card process.
Check the member notations section on the Summary tab in Account Summary to verify if the member is set up on Recurring Credit Card Payment.
If the member has any questions about their current recurring credit card payment that is already set up, do not transfer to the Credit Card Team. Only transfer the member to the Credit Card Team if the member wants to add, stop or change the recurring payment.
Use this information to answer general questions related to existing recurring credit payments:
The credit card on file will be charged on the 20th of each month, unless the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday--then we will charge the credit card on the next business day.
Note: Recurring credit card payments may take 3-5 business days to post to the member's account.
Members will receive one additional Monthly Bill after their recurring credit card payments start. Additional bills will not be sent unless there is an eligibility or plan change, or there is a past due balance.
Members will be automatically removed from RCC payments if any of the following occur:
Member qualifies for extra help (LIS, SPAP, etc.) resulting in the member having a $0 premium.
Member elects to change their MOP to EFT or SSA/RRB.
Member enters into a repayment plan.
Member’s credit card is declined two consecutive months.
